Venues

The main venues are all in the centre of Denmark, no more than 200 metres from each other. There is parking immediately outside most venues with extra spaces available nearby. The map of the venue locations below is also available inside the Festival program booklet.

[1] Festival Office

Located in the foyer and entranceway to the Civic Centre. Collection of wristbands, central information source, lost and found, and general enquiries should be directed here.

[2] Civic Centre

With its renovation now completed it is certainly a deluxe concert venue. Some workshops will also be held here. The Festival box office and coordination hub and public toilets are located near the front doors on the south side of the building.

[3] Recreation Centre

A special venue which will allow everyone to come together for the One Voice Closing Concert on Sunday evening... yes... everyone together, en masse singing, dancing, digital projections and more.

[4] RSL Hall

Just down Strickland Street, the main street of Denmark, past the Anglican Church... left, right, and you're there! It will be used for some wonderful concerts and workshops.

[5] CWA Hall

This is a more intimate workshop and performance venue around the corner from the Ambulance Hall.

[6] Ambulance Hall

A comfortable venue for the more active workshops (carpeted!). It is across the road from the Civic Centre, and will also be available during concerts as a warm-up space.

[7] Anglican Church

A small venue at the eastern end of the Civic Centre and adjacent to the Anglican Hall, with lovely acoustics.

[8] Denmark Hotel

The Hotel has a wonderful private room for workshops and performances and will also be a showcase venue for some acts.

[9] Festival Club

The club will be the bubbling hub of song and great times. With an open 'chalkboard', surprise guests and song sharing. Located at the front of the recreation centre inside the Function Room, it will allow us to cater for the huge interest in this venue. With delicious treats and eats... coffee, tea, wine, beer, cake and delicious food available.

[10] Vocal warm-up spaces

These are provided for use by artists preparing for performances, to warm up in readiness to perform. They are located:

[11] Equipment lockup

Storage is available for artists wishing to store musical equipment or instruments. It is located in the equipment store in the old Green Room, under the Civic Centre stage. The lockup will be accessible from outside the Civic Centre, with the key available from the Festival Office.

[12] The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is a unique venue at the back of the Centre For Sustainable Living with unique acoustics and a calming feeling. Try something different here with the Chanting Group.
